Senator Erika Stefani was born on 18 July 1971 in Valdagno (Vicenza). Since 2005 she is member of the Vicenza Order of Lawyers.
In 1999 she was elected municipal councilor in the municipality of Trissino. In 2009 she was re-elected municipal councilor in the same municipality, holding the positions of deputy mayor and councilor for urban planning and private construction.
In 2013 she was elected to the Senate of the Republic in the Veneto District (XVII Legislature), joining the Junta of elections and parliamentary immunities and being member of the Justice Commission. At the 2018 political elections she was re-elected to the Senate of the Republic in the single-member constituency of Vicenza (XVIII Legislature).
From 1 June 2018 to 5 September 2019 he held the position of Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies.
On February 13, 2021 he was named Minister for Disabilities in the Government led by the President of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Mario Draghi.
